Champions for Life (Montreal, QC)

March 2021- August 2021

Champions for Life and Recreational Respite have worked together in a unique way. Champions for Life focuses on teaching kids to move for life! Children in the early years of development acquire the fundamental movement skills so that they have the tools to play and be active throughout their lives. The team at CFL develop physical literacy skills that can be shared and transferred to physical education professions and parents alike. Recently, they wrote a playbook called, ‘Setting the Stage for Success’. An inclusive playbook for all children with all abilities to be able to take part in a variety of physical movement activities. Our role in this partnership was to help with the language to write the playbook that would be distributed to a variety of sport and activity professionals.
