One-to-One Respite Support
We work one-to-one with children, youth, adults and seniors who have disabilities, illnesses, mental health experiences, who may be navigating grief, trauma, or significant life changes, or who desire personalized recreation-based supports. Our tailored services aim to enhance emotional well-being and nurture social health for individuals who face barriers to participation. These individualized supports are provided in your home or in community settings, and can be used to:
- provide respite for a caregiver
- foster community participation and healthy lifestyles, and emotional wellbeing
- pursue recreational interests
- develop independent life skills
- coach in vocational opportunities
- mentor in areas of interest
- support during life transitions
- and more.
Through a Recreation Therapy Assessment, we identify each individual’s interests, goals, and any barriers to participation, and create a personalized plan to support meaningful engagement and overall well-being. A skilled Community Engagement Provider is matched to provide trusted one-to-one respite support, striving to reach desired outcomes through person-centred recreation and community participation opportunities.
We do not require a professional referral or diagnosis to align support. Contact us if you’d like to learn more about our services or begin an inquiry.
