Virtual One-to-One Support
Recreational Respite provides virtual one-to-one support to young, middle-aged, and older adults who have disabilities, illnesses, mental health experiences, who may be navigating grief, trauma, or significant life changes, and who desire personalized recreation-based supports. Our tailored services aim to enhance emotional well-being and nurture social health for individuals who face barriers to participation. These supports are provided in a confidential virtual space, and can be used to:
- pursue recreational interests
- assist in organization, reminders, and accomplishing tasks
- develop independent life skills
- coach in vocational opportunities
- mentor in areas of interest and creativity
- support during life transitions
- foster community participation and healthy lifestyles
- provide respite for a caregiver
- and more.
Through a Recreation Therapy Assessment, we identify each individual’s interests, goals, and any barriers to participation, and create a personalized plan to support meaningful engagement and overall well-being. A skilled Community Engagement Provider is matched to provide trusted one-to-one support, striving to reach desired outcomes through person-centred recreation and community participation opportunities.
We do not require a professional referral or diagnosis to align support. If this sounds like a good fit, call 1-877-855-7070 ext. 1 or contact us to get started with one-to-one support.
