Thank aphasia program and RecRespite partnered to bring recreation programs to the aphasia day camp hosted in 2011 for any individual effected by aphasia and their families. The camp was held in Mississauga, ON on Saturday June 11 and Sunday June 12th. Recreational Respite was proud to be contribute a series of movement and recreation based programming to the aphasia camp to engage everyone in attendance!
Camps Mission:
To offer a fun, educational and entertaining two day event for people with aphasia and their family members or friends.
Objectives:
Two days of recreation in an aphasia-friendly environment. Learn and share with others who are living with aphasia. Experience new or adapted recreational and leisure activities. Create awareness about aphasia in the Mississauga community.
